FEMTOFLASH technology guarantees higher machining speed making the entire production process more efficient and cost-effective.

 

FEMTOFLASH emits bursts of pulses with a frequency in the GHz range. Therefore in one second there are billion pulses, while traditional USP single pulse lasers emit million pulses per second.

In this way FEMTOFLASH can be scanned over the sample a thousand fold faster.

 

Thanks to this technology, our laser shows remarkable efficiency, demonstrating six times faster machining on steel as compared to traditional USP lasers (0.84 vs 0.15 mm³/W/min).

FEMTOFLASH offers maximum flexibility to optimize a variety of machining processes across diverse materials.

 

The burst repetition rate is adjustable, offering continuous tuning from 1 KHz to 10 MHz for precise optimization of machining speed.

 

FEMTOFLASH’s user-friendly software interface provides intuitive control, allowing you to change the number of pulses within bursts and adjust burst shapes from square to trapezoid, triangular, or pyramid.

This enables the modification of ablated corner geometries or hole shapes to meet your specific machining needs.

MINIMAL HEAT AFFECTED ZONE

Compared to pico- or nanosecond pulses, femtosecond pulses achieve better quality for micromachining applications.

 

With a pulse duration of less than 400 fs, FEMTOFLASH guarantees minimal heat-affected zone (HAZ) and almost no debris around the processed area.

 

Thanks to FEMTOFLASH technology the high quality is also maintained at high machining speed. Indeed the pulse energy is slightly above the machining threshold and it does not produce detrimental effects that compromise precision.

Thanks to our patent pending laser technology with reduced number of modules we can integrate the laser head together with the control electronics in only one ultra-light enclosure.

 

Compared with conventional USP lasers, FEMTOFLASH has a much lower weight. FEMTOFLASH weights only 16 Kg (compared with 30kg for other USP lasers) and is the lightest USP laser on the micromachining market.
